Open Church – All Saints
The church building is regularly open to visitors and guided tours of this lovely building can be arranged for groups. The magnificent ‘Walker’s of Suffolk’ organ is situated on the balcony above the main door and is over 100 years old. Visits by organists or organ societies can be accommodated by prior arrangement. The church has an extensive archive of historic photographs and other memorabilia which can be viewed by arrangement. For further details please contact the Churchwardens.
Throughout the year concerts of varying kinds are held in All Saints’ Church and some also are held in St Paul’s Church. For information about any forthcoming concerts please refer to Upcoming Events.
Lunchtime Concerts are held in All Saints for six week on Tuesdays in late July and August at 1:05pm. Admission is free with a retiring collection. Each concert lasts for 45 minutes and the music on offer is mainly light classical. Over the years they have featured string quartets, piano recitals, choral groups, solo singers, flute, saxophone and organ. There is usually something for everyone.
